DIY Cruelty-Free Pedicure with Amopé Pedi Perfect for #SoftFeetAllSummer

DIY Cruelty-Free Pedicure with Pedi Perfect

Now that it’s sandal weather, having a nice pedicure is almost essential. But when you’re busy it can be hard to make the time to really pamper your feet. Sometimes I bring cruelty-free products to a nail salon to get a pedicure done, but I really love the experience of a DIY cruelty-free pedicure.

For this post, I partnered with Amopé, who makes Amopé(R) Pedi Perfect(TM) Electric Foot & Nail File, to show you how easy it is to get a great cruelty-free pedicure at home. The Pedi Perfect is a really easy way to get super soft feet at home. It’s a great way to give your feet some extra pampering as a part of your own pedicure.

There are a few things you will need for your own DIY cruelty-free pedicure:

  • An Amopé Pedi Perfect kit
  • Lotion
  • Nail clippers and/or a nail file
  • A base and top coat
  • Your favorite nail polish

I like to start by using the Amopé Pedi Perfect kit to make sure my feet are super soft. I apply a nice thick lotion afterward and let it soak into my skin to make them extra soft. There are a lot of foot scrubs out there and, while many are great at helping to soften my feet… Sometimes, especially in the summer, I want something that’s a bit more heavy duty. This is where the Amopé Pedi Perfect kit is perfect.

I picked up my Pedi Perfect at Walgreens and am excited to share a $15 off coupon with you for your own Pedi Perfect. This brings the price down to only $21.99, which is a really awesome value.

Having my own DIY cruelty-free pedicure at home with the Pedi Perfect was so easy! The Pedi Perfect from Amopé smooths rough spots on your feet quickly and easily and is ergonomically shaped head for easy & fast hard skin removal from even the curviest contours of your feet. It uses finely ground Diamond crystals for maximum and smooth exfoliation. You can also buy replaceable roller heads available for every kit. Amopé suggests coarse for regular skin and extra coarse for hard, callused skin.

The Amopé Pedi Perfect is really easy to use. It’s meant to be used on dry skin only and be sure to not use it near water since it is battery operated. You don’t need to worry about pressing too hard because it has an automatic safety feature where it stops automatically if you press too hard. There are no sharp edges or blades either.

After using the Amopé Pedi Perfect to get your feet super soft and smooth, carefully shape your toenails with nail clippers and/or a nail file depending on how short you want them. Because I try to take time for this each week, I usually just use a nail file. For polish, I start with my favorite base coat. Once it has dried, I use two coats of my favorite polish and then apply top coat.

I picked up my Pedi Perfect at Walgreens and am excited to share a $15 off coupon with you for your own Pedi Perfect. With the coupon, it’s only $21.99, which is much less than the average salon pedicure costs. I found that it really improved my DIY pedicure experience and left my feet really smooth. Plus, it’s perfect for those of us who are super busy and need results quickly.

Walgreens had all three products in stock and it was great to see them in person to see which one I wanted. I ended up picking out the Amopé Pedi Perfect With Diamond Crystals Extra Coarse Kit (I’m a sucker for pink), but the coupon is also good for the Amopé Pedi Perfect Electronic Foot File with Diamond Crystals Coarse Kit or the Amopé Electronic Nail Care System. If you think you may want two, there’s another coupon for $25.00 off the purchase of two. It’s definitely a great way to take your at-home pedicure up a notch.

Have you tried the Pedi Perfect before? What was your experience? If not, do you think you may pick one up with the coupon?
