ColourPop Crunch Sheer Lippie Stix Review

If you have been watching my YouTube videos, then you likely already know that I am a ColourPop addict. The traditional ColourPop Lippie Stix from this cruelty free brand are some of my favorite lipsticks out there. When they announced that they were launching a sheer finish to add to this line, I was excited. When I found out that they were vegan, I needed to get my hands on them.

The ColourPop Crunch Sheer Lippie Stix is cute peachy coral shade. Peachy coral lip products are one of my weaknesses, so I was especially eager to try this shade.

Claims: “Apply onto bare lips or over your fav lip balm for added moisture and shine. Increase the intensity with a matching Lippie Pencil! Sheer finish. Sheer coverage, light weight and comfortable on your lips, contains Organic Coconut Butter for lots of moisture and Vitamin E for protection. Our favorite Lippie to wear to the beach!“

Please note that ColourPop currently includes the same +/- ingredient listing for all of their products. This +/- list contains animal ingredients as ingredients. I have discussed this with ColourPop and they have confirmed that the only ColourPop products that contain carmine are a couple of Super Shock Shadows and Super Shock Cheek shades, as well as one Ultra Matte Lipstick. The following Super Shock Shadows are not vegan – Tea Party, Bae, Mittens, Lace, Lovey Dovey, Hunger, and Bubbly. The following Super Shock Cheek shades are not vegan – Thumper, Birthday Suit, Fox, HighlyWaisted, Hippo, Most Necessary, Sticky Sweet, Tasty, Teasecake, and Wisp. The following Ultra Matte Lipsticks are not vegan – Tulle. All other products are vegan! They also keep an updated list of vegan options on their FAQ page.

Pros: Gorgeous sheer color. Very hydrating formula. Cruelty free brand. Vegan formulas.

Cons: Not very long-wearing. Their ingredient labelling is confusing to many. Carmine is listed in the +/- (may or may not contain) section, but is not present in most ColourPop products.

The Verdict: I am totally hooked on the ColourPop Crunch Sheer Lippie Stix! The sheer formula is very hydrating. I would compare the feel of the sheerlippiestix more to a balm or gloss than a lipstick. This shade is perfect for summer. It’s bright and peachy, without being over the top. In fact, since I got this shade I have been wearing it quite often and even carrying it with me in my purse. It is currently one of my favoites!
