BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector Review

BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector Review

Since changing to a cruelty free and vegan beauty routine, I have been on the hunt for the perfect under eye brightener. I used to use an amazing peach concealer but have had a hard time finding the perfect replacement. The BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector is not the first that I have tried, but the reviews sounded more promising than others I have tried. I was eager to give it a try and see how it worked on it’s own, layered under a concealer and layered over a concealer.

Claims: “This full-coverage crème corrector completely eradicates under eye darkness by brightening and evening skin tone. Truly unique in color and formula, BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector is backlighting for your concealer. Pros: Effectively cancels out undereye darkness. Creamy formula. Subtle shimmer, but not overly sparkly. Paraben-free. Fragrance free. Cruelty free brand. Vegan formula.

Cons: Needs to be paired with a concealer as suggested.

The Verdict: It’s suggested that you use the BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector under concealer. This helps to brighten the area before concealing the darkness. I found that this formula is really creamy and easy to apply and blend out. The peach shade does a lot to cancel out dark circles. The formula has a subtle shimmer that really helps to brighten the area as well. For full coverage, you will want to follow with a concealer. While the BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector does a good job with color correcting, it does not fully cover dark circles on its own. You can also use it applied over concealer. This works to reflect light to draw attention away from fine lines. I felt that it applied smoothly over concealer and worked just as well to brighten the area.

The BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector is a great option for those looking for a cruelty free and vegan peach brightener. It works very well to brighten my under eye area and doesn’t flake or crease during the day. I do suggest pairing it with a concealer for the best coverage.
